Phil is the owner of N.B. Knapke Company, a respected real estate firm that has developed, managed, and brokered millions of square feet of retail, industrial, and office properties throughout northeast Indiana. With a career spanning decades, Phil has played a central role in shaping the region’s commercial real estate landscape.

Phil joined BND Commercial in August 2010 as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition. A veteran in all areas of commercial real estate, his expertise lies especially in development. In 1992, he co-founded the Goldstine Knapke Company with Steve Wesner and David Norton. Among his notable accomplishments, Phil was a member of the land acquisition team for the Fort Wayne General Motors plant and has led the development of numerous industrial and retail centers across the region. He currently oversees the management of over 1.2 million square feet of property.

A graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, Phil remains active in several professional organizations, including the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBOR), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Indiana Economic Development Association, and the Indiana Association of REALTORS®.

Phil and his wife, Sherry, reside in Fort Wayne and enjoy spending time with their three children and six grandchildren.

Steve brings more than six decades of experience to the northeast Indiana commercial real estate market, having launched his career in 1962. He joined BND Commercial in August 2010 as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition, continuing a legacy of trusted service and deep market knowledge.

A graduate of Indiana University, Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in real estate. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBOR), Northeast Indiana Commercial and Industrial Brokers, and the National Association of REALTORS®, all of which reflect his ongoing commitment to industry excellence and professional development.

Steve is also deeply invested in the Fort Wayne community. He currently serves as board president of the Robert Goldstine Foundation, which supports initiatives in economic development, the arts, civic projects, and human services to enhance the quality of life and business in Allen County. He previously served on the Trustee Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs, further demonstrating his dedication to youth and community advancement.

Outside of his professional and philanthropic work, Steve and his wife Keitha are proud parents of two sons and grandparents to three grandchildren. A family of Eagle Scouts, Steve, both his sons, and both his grandsons have all earned the prestigious rank. In his free time, Steve enjoys all water sports and is an avid in-line skater.

Steve Wesner

Dave joined BND Commercial in April 2011, bringing with him a strong foundation in real estate, business, and client service. He began his RE career in 2004 when he launched his own residential company, specializing in property management and investment. Prior to this, Dave served as an account executive with Lincoln National and Computer Sciences Corporation, gaining valuable experience in strategic planning and risk management.

Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. A dedicated community leader, he is actively involved with several organizations, including Emmanuel Community Church, The League for the Blind, and Charis House Rescue Ministries.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys golf and other outdoor pursuits. He and his wife, Jennifer, stay busy supporting the interests and activities of their six children.

Eric Shippy joined BND with a passion for real estate and development, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a business owner. With a strong background in marketing, business development, and property management, he offers a well-rounded perspective when working with clients and identifying new opportunities.

A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Business Management, Eric has worked with some of the largest property management companies in the country, helped launch two startups, and owned four businesses operating across more than a dozen states. Over the years, he has invested more than $2 million into projects designed to strengthen and improve Fort Wayne and its surrounding communities. He currently owns a billboard and media company and is eager to apply his entrepreneurial expertise to the real estate and development industry.

Eric is an active member of The Chapel and Trinity English Lutheran Church. In his free time, he enjoys golf, fitness, travel, and creating lasting memories with his daughters—Addison, Aubrey, and Ayda—whether at volleyball tournaments or on family adventures.

Rhonda Ridgeway-Hall is the Controller at BND Commercial, LLC and has been a key part of the leadership team since 2012. She oversees the company’s accounting operations, leads a team of property accountants, and directs human resources functions, ensuring BND operates with both financial precision and organizational strength.

Prior to joining BND, Rhonda founded and operated a corporate accounting and bookkeeping firm beginning in 2002, providing tailored financial solutions to a broad range of businesses. This entrepreneurial background built her strong foundation in strategic planning, operational efficiency, and client-focused service.

Rhonda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Human Resources from Trine University, giving her a dual focus on fiscal oversight and organizational development.

With over 20 years of experience in accounting, HR, and business operations, Rhonda is committed to supporting BND’s continued growth while fostering a people-first culture.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, their two children, and their grandchild, always finding joy in family and community.

Jenna joined BND in July 2025 as a Brokerage and Marketing Assistant. A Hoosier through and through, she is a graduate of Carroll High School and Indiana University, where she earned a degree in Advertising in 2025. During college, she completed internships with multiple companies across the engineering, manufacturing, and advertising industries, gaining valuable experience in social media marketing, graphic design, and competitor analysis. Jenna brings a diverse skill set to BND and is eager to expand her knowledge in the commercial real estate field.

In her spare time, Jenna enjoys going outside and exploring nature. Whether she’s reading in a hammock, biking on local trails, or working on a new crochet project, she loves combining relaxation with creativity.

Todd is a seasoned real estate professional with a diverse background in development, brokerage, and entrepreneurial ventures. He joined BND Commercial in August 2010 through the Goldstine Knapke acquisition and brings decades of experience to the team.

Todd began his real estate career in 1995 and is currently a partner with RCI Development, an affiliate of BND Commercial. Through RCI, he has been actively involved in the development of a wide range of property types, including residential subdivisions, manufactured housing communities, self-storage facilities, retail shopping centers, single- and multi-tenant retail buildings, industrial parks, and sporting complexes.

Prior to his work in real estate, Todd owned and operated an insurance investigation firm and a real estate auctioneering company, showcasing his entrepreneurial drive and broad industry expertise.

A graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Todd remains engaged in the community through his involvement with the Fort Wayne Youth Hockey League and the Pine Valley Junior Golf Program.

Todd and his wife, Jill, live in Fort Wayne and have three sons - Alec, Jake, and Nick. In his free time, he enjoys hockey, golf, and deep sea fishing.

Jake Ramsey

Alec joined BND Commercial in January 2023 as a member of the brokerage team.

A Fort Wayne native, Alec graduated from Carroll High School before attending the University of St. Francis, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration while playing on a four-year golf scholarship.

After graduation, Alec partnered with his brothers and father to form Ramsey Ventures, LLC, a development company specializing in industrial and commercial properties, including several local Tim Hortons franchise locations.

He holds an Indiana Real Estate Broker’s License and continues to grow under the leadership of BND’s experienced team. Alec is passionate about contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the Fort Wayne community.

Outside of work, Alec enjoys spending summer weekends at Lake James with family and friends, where they enjoy boating and outdoor activities. He is also an active member of Pine Valley Country Club and enjoys golfing regularly. Alec is a proud father to two sons, Reese and Grayson.

Alec Ramsey

David joined BND Commercial in August 2010 as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition, bringing with him decades of deep-rooted experience in commercial real estate. He began his career in 1968 and has served the northeast Indiana commercial market for more than 50 years with distinction and professionalism.

A graduate of Butler University, David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology. He is a longtime member of the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBOR) and the Northeast Indiana Commercial and Industrial Brokers. His leadership in the industry includes serving as President of the Fort Wayne Board of REALTORS®, Director of the Indiana Association of REALTORS®, and being named Realtor of the Year in 1975.

Beyond his professional achievements, David is a dedicated community leader. He has served as Board Chairman for Lost Valley Ranch, Trustee for Search Ministries, and is currently a board member of Fort Wayne Area Youth for Christ. He also teaches and serves as an elder at The Chapel.

David and his wife, Sally, have been married for more than 60 years. Together, they have three children and six grandchildren.

David Norton

Alexiss brings over a decade of experience developing dynamic marketing strategies across multiple industries . Prior to her work in commercial real estate, she held key roles in brand management, digital marketing, and internal communications—leading campaigns that boosted engagement, streamlined CRM processes, and elevated organizational storytelling. Her background also includes event planning, email marketing, and multi-channel strategy development with a focus on measurable outcomes.

She is a graduate of Purdue University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing with a minor in Public Relations.

Alexiss joined BND as Director of Marketing. In this role, she oversees social media engagement, internal and external communications, content planning, and strategic marketing initiatives that position the company as a leading presence in the commercial real estate space.

Outside of work, Alexiss enjoys supporting local businesses and spending quality time with her close-knit family.

Alexiss Muñoz

Director of Marketing

Michelle joined BND Commercial in 2022, bringing with her valuable experience in both residential and multifamily management. After high school, she attended IPFW, studying business management and communications. Her career began in 2016 as an Office Manager for a residential real estate company, where she developed a strong foundation in client services and operations.

In 2020, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, and served as an Assistant Property Manager for RAM Properties, overseeing a 600-unit community. In that role, she was responsible for rent collection, managing delinquencies and evictions, and coordinating work orders.

After returning to her hometown of Fort Wayne in 2022, Michelle embraced her role as Property Manager at BND, where she currently oversees both The Harrison and The Community at Triangle Park multi-family communities.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys bowling, relaxing at the lake, and spending time with family, especially her husband, Jordan, and young son. They are expecting another son in November 2025.

Michelle Luce

Vice President of Operations

Roger is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with more than five decades of experience in the industry. He joined BND Commercial in August 2010 through the Goldstine Knapke acquisition and quickly became a top producer, leading the company in transaction volume from 2012 to 2021.

Roger began his real estate career in 1972 and joined Joe Goldstine and Son in 1976, building a diverse portfolio of expertise that includes office, retail, land, and industrial/warehouse properties. His background also includes a successful early career in banking with a firm in Indianapolis. Over the years, Roger has developed deep knowledge in consulting, investment analysis, and tenant/landlord representation, making him a trusted advisor for clients across northeast Indiana.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University in 1967. Roger is a committed community leader and actively participates in several organizations, including the National Association of REALTORS® and the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBOR). He has also served on the boards of Lutheran Social Services and Concordia Lutheran Church and School.

Outside of work, Roger enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with his two children and two grandchildren.

Roger Koehlinger

Rachel joined BND Commercial in 2017 as a broker’s assistant, bringing with her a strong background in customer service, human resources, and administrative operations. Over time, she became an essential part of the team, known for her ability to manage day-to-day tasks, coordinate projects, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

In 2023, Rachel was promoted to Executive Brokerage Administrator. In this leadership role, she supports the managing partners, oversees the administrative team, trains new hires, and leads efforts to improve internal processes and workflows. She also plays a key role in executing special projects and supporting the firm’s ongoing operational success. Rachel is known for staying calm under pressure, keeping the team on track, and offering steady encouragement to those around her with her positive attitude.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their three kids. Whether she’s helping with school projects, supplying endless craft supplies for the kids, or going for a family bike ride, she’s happiest when things are a little messy and a lot of fun.

Rachel Kennedy

Tyler joined BND Commercial in January 2020 as a broker’s assistant, determined to learn the commercial real estate industry from the ground up. During this time he attended Troyer Real Estate School and in July 2020 completed his licensing credentials at the top of his class.

Since then, Tyler has been on a fast paced training program in an effort to gain as much general knowledge of the industry as possible. He feels fortunate to be closely mentored by the top producers and owners of BND, gaining their confidence in handling the legwork of some of their biggest clients and transactions. Tyler specializes in local market analysis, investment transactions, industrial sales, and retail leasing.

Prior to his real estate career, he attended IPFW for business and hospitality management. After college he took this background into the casino industry and later became heavily involved in a successful network marketing company. Tyler was born and raised in Rockville, Indiana where he spent the early part of his life in the small rural community. He and his wife Ting have been married since 2015, sharing their home with their beloved dogs, Caesar and Ollie. In 2022 the family welcomed the addition of their first child, and they continue to grow together as a family of five.

Breck joined BND Commercial in July 2011 after earning her real estate license earlier that same year. She specializes in office, retail, and industrial brokerage, and has been a key member of the leasing and sales teams for two major downtown Fort Wayne developments: The Harrison and AWB Condos.

A Fort Wayne native, Breck attended IPFW and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies, along with minors in Psychology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision. During her college years, she gained valuable industry experience as an intern with Goldstine Knapke, a local commercial real estate firm.

Outside of work, Breck and her husband, Brian, enjoy golfing at Pine Valley Country Club, watching sports, and spending time with their dog, Hadley. She is also passionate about running, cooking, and supporting her nieces and nephews in their various activities..

Breck Johnson

Dalton joined BND in 2022, bringing with him seven years of experience in commercial real estate. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he is a proud graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School and holds a degree in Business Management from Indiana University.

Dalton began his career at a local real estate firm, where he gained valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience. He later joined CBM, a BND affiliate company, where his strong performance and commitment to excellence led to a permanent role at BND.

Today, Dalton plays an integral role on both the project management and brokerage teams, contributing to the firm’s continued success with a focus on client service and strategic execution.

Outside of the office, Dalton enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He is dedicated to his family and remains actively involved in his local community.

Dalton Jasper

Austin joined BND in May 2024 as a valued member of the brokerage team. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he graduated from Carroll High School before earning his degree in Finance from Ball State University. Austin's journey with BND began during college, when he interned with the firm and had the opportunity to shadow senior leadership. He later contributed to the accounting department remotely, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the business.

Following graduation, Austin obtained his broker’s license and transitioned into a full-time role at BND, bringing enthusiasm, local insight, and a strong foundation in finance to the team.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys golfing, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors. He also values quality time with his family and staying active in his community.

Austin Hoskins

Ella joined BND in February 2024, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong desire to grow within the field of property management. A proud Fort Wayne native, she graduated from Leo Jr./Sr. High School and soon after enrolled in an online property management course to further her education and prepare for a hands-on career in the industry.

Currently gaining valuable real-world experience at The Community at Triangle Park as a leasing agent, Ella is eager to continue learning the ins and outs of property management and is excited about the opportunities ahead. She’s committed to growing with BND and looks forward to contributing to the team’s success in the long term.

Outside of work, Ella enjoys spending quality time with her friends, family, and two beloved cats. A creative spirit, she also finds joy in caring for her collection of potted plants and relaxing with crochet projects in her downtime.

Janet joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. She began her career in the Mortgage Loan Department at Fort Wayne National Bank in 1967 and has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 1982. Janet joined Goldstine Knapke in 1988 and has supported the same team of brokers for more than 37 years.

She is a graduate of International Business College in Fort Wayne, where she earned a degree in Secretarial Sciences.

Janet is an active member of the Amicitia Extension Homemakers Club and has held leadership roles in the Huntington Extension Homemakers Organization and the Huntington County Extension Board, where she served as president. She is a past district director of the Indiana Business and Professional Women’s Clubs and served on the Roanoke Library Board for 16 years, where she was honored with the Library’s Golden Friend Award.

She attends Emmanuel Community Church and is proud to be a mother and grandmother to one son and four grandchildren. In her free time, Janet enjoys baking, cross-stitching, and spending time with family and friends.

Andy Hansen joined BND Commercial in 2025, bringing a diverse background that includes work as a general contractor, finance and operations analyst, and service technician. A graduate of Tiffin University with a degree in Business Administration, he combines hands-on experience with strong business knowledge to approach projects with efficiency and attention to detail.

Outside of work, he enjoys attending concerts and live sporting events, playing golf (even if his scorecard doesn’t always reflect his enthusiasm), and spending time in the garage or around his property taking on maintenance and improvement projects.

Andy Hansen

Brian joined BND Commercial in August 2010 as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition and currently serves as President of the company’s full-service property management division. He leads operations across a diverse portfolio that includes office, industrial, commercial, and residential real estate assets.

With over 30 years of experience in property and asset management, leasing, and construction, Brian brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership to BND. Prior to his time at Goldstine Knapke, he served as Managing Director for another prominent real estate firm in Fort Wayne.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting Systems from Valparaiso University. In addition to his core responsibilities, he has also served as Receiver for several large commercial and industrial buildings, as well as an extensive residential portfolio, demonstrating his trusted expertise in complex real estate scenarios.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, Diane, their three children, and two grandchildren. A golf enthusiast, he is also actively working toward earning his private pilot’s license.

Julia joined the BND Commercial accounting team in 2022, bringing with her a strong foundation in financial operations and a passion for detail-oriented work. She began her accounting career as an intern for a local nonprofit organization and later expanded her skills as an accounting assistant at an auto dealership, further refining her expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger processes.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus in Accounting from the Doermer School of Business at Indiana University Fort Wayne. She is also a proud graduate of Bishop Luers High School.

Outside the office, Julia plays the flute and sings in the choir of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoys gardening, crafting, playing games, and spending quality time with family and friends, especially her husband, Isaiah.

AJ joined BND Commercial in 2017 as a bookkeeper and has since become an integral part of the company’s financial and administrative operations. In her role, she is responsible for managing tenant and vendor communications, as well as overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Trine University, where she developed a foundation in effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building - skills that continue to serve her well in her professional role.

Beyond the workplace, AJ is passionate about serving others and giving back to the community. She volunteers regularly with The Pointe Church’s Celebrate Recovery program, a nationwide, Christ-centered initiative that helps individuals “overcome life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.” Her deep-rooted faith is a guiding force in her life and influences every decision she makes, both personally and professionally.

Steve joined BND Commercial in 2016 with a focus on dental real estate.

He brings over 30 years of experience in the dental industry, most of which he spent as a self-employed business owner. This extensive background gives him a deep understanding of the unique needs and opportunities within dental-focused real estate transactions.

Steve graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Sports Management. He has been married to his wife for 28 years, and together they have five children and three grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, mountain biking, skiing, and snowmobiling, as well as spending time with his family in Northern Michigan.

Rett joined BND in September 2024 as a valued member of the brokerage team. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he is a proud graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University. Rett's connection to BND began during his college years, when he interned with the firm and had the opportunity to learn firsthand from senior leadership.

After graduation, Rett spent five years in Florida working for two major companies, where he gained significant experience in the sales industry. His time there helped sharpen his client-focused approach and laid a strong foundation for his transition into real estate. Upon returning to Fort Wayne, Rett obtained his real estate license and joined BND as a full-time broker. His approachable style, energy, and natural ability to connect with others have made him a trusted partner to both clients and colleagues.

Outside the office, Rett enjoys golfing, playing music, and attending sporting events. He is also dedicated to spending quality time with his family and staying actively involved in his community.

Kathy brings to BND more than 32 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background as a professional Kitchen and Bath Designer. Her career has taken her across the country, including Arizona, Oregon, South Dakota, and North Carolina, but her roots are in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she returned to be closer to family and friends.

Since 2006, Kathy has been a dedicated and valued member of BND Commercial, where she plays a vital role in daily operations. As the front desk receptionist and assistant to the brokers, Kathy is often the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and deep understanding of the industry help support the success of the entire BND team.

Kathy is passionate about family and enjoys spending me with her daughter, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In her free time, she loves playing golf and euchre, shooting pool, and attending live sporting events.

Tom Cox

Laura Cox joined BND Commercial in September 2024 and brings her experience and dedication to the Property Management team. She is responsible for daily accounting and management of associations and commercial properties, embracing the challenge of learning a new area of expertise.

Prior to BND, Laura spent 12 years as an HR Benefits Specialist at Parkview Hospital. She then felt called to ministry, serving in various roles at Blackhawk Ministries for 20 years. During that time, she founded The Vine, a ministry supporting families facing financial hardship. She also served as Director at reNEW Upscale Resale Thrift Store, which funded projects at Blackhawk Christian School that benefited the local community.

Laura has been married to her high school sweetheart, Tom Cox, for 41 years. Together they have two daughters and six grandchildren, who bring immense joy to their lives. While Laura is new to the BND family, her husband has been with the company for more than 30 years.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, hosting sleepovers, painting, and exploring interior design.

A respected Auburn businessman, Ron joined BND Commercial in 2012 and focuses his brokerage efforts in the area north of Fort Wayne where he has spent most of his life.

Born and raised in Garrett, Indiana, Ron has been a part of his family’s Auburn business, Corunna Bedding and Furniture Company, since 1974. After studying business at Indiana University, he became head of design and manufacturing, and eventually co-owner of the company in 1994.

An active community leader, his business has donated to numerous charitable organizations over the years and is also a member of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.

Ron and his wife, Kristie, have two daughters. The family attends County Line Church of God and enjoys spending their summer weekends together on Crooked Lake.
